Position Summary
Provide coordination of program-specific finance activities to support the Department of Family Medicine, Director of Research and grant/research program missions. This will include conducting and/or assisting with program budget planning and communication, budget creation and maintenance, in accordance to Sponsored Programs Administration and Accounting.
Responsible for budget monitoring, accounts payable functions, and travel coordination within the Research Division. Provides support to special projects as assigned.

1. History in grants preparation, processes, and management
2. Proficient in basic accounting and/or bookkeeping skills.
3. Strong organizational abilities along with strong written and oral communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently, make fiscal decisions with minimal supervision, anticipate and solve problems.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
6. Ability to work cooperatively with individuals at all levels.
7. Ability to react sensitively to complex, interpersonal situations arising from department involvement with a wide range of campus personnel, faculty, and organizations.
