The Department of Learning Science is an interdisciplinary unit dedicated to improving the human condition through data-driven investigation of the learning process, through the effective design of learning innovations, and through the development of learning science professionals in five distinct areas of specialization.
The Department of Learning Science in the College of Education and Human Development is seeking to hire a customer focused and detailed oriented Sponsor Funded - Grants & Contracts Officer I.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position will perform post-award activities for the department's large, complex, and diverse portfolio of federal, state, local, and private grants, including contracts and agreements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Work within a collaborative team structure to provide post-award support.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and travel requisitions and expense statements.
- Order supplies and materials.
- Initiate and monitor subcontracts and consulting agreements.
- Manage the process of the daily flow of paperwork, electronic documents, and communications related to proposals and contracts.
- Assist PIs and collaborate with other college staff on a variety of forms that may be necessary for sponsored projects including sub-awards, payroll, travel and other expenses.

***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with financial system (ex: Oracle PeopleSoft Financials), HR system (ex: OneUSG), procurement system (ex: SciQuest/PantherMart), and MS Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
