JOB SUMMARY

The Graduate Admissions recruiter will play a vital role in attracting and engaging high-caliber candidates for key graduate programs. This position involves developing and implementing recruitment strategies, establishing relationships with prospective students, and collaborating with university stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment process.

 

This position will work closely with the Director of Graduate Admissions, other Graduate Recruiters, and Enrollment Management’s various department to collaborate on and execute lead generation and nurturing strategies. These collaborations will ensure the right goals, strategies, and execution to increase enrollment in key graduate programs.  

 

Salesforce will be a critical tool for this position to regularly use reports and dashboards to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and propose improvements. Salesforce will also be used to maintain accurate records of prospective students and track recruitment activities. Other systems including Pardot, Marketing Cloud, and more will also be important tools for carrying out our lead nurturing strategy. 

 

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This is a sales-like admissions approach, working with graduate programs with enrollment and revenue goals. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead Recruiting

  • Serve as a resource for prospective graduate students, responding to questions and assisting new leads in determining the appropriate program through multiple channels of communication
  • Track all interactions with prospective students and support the lead nurturing marketing strategy
  • Generate interest and new leads in selected graduate programs at the University of St. Thomas 

Salesforce & CRM Management

  • Utilize Salesforce to track interactions with prospective students
  • Use reports, dashboards, and tasks to strategically and effectively communicate with prospective graduate students and make decisions
  • Support the lead nurturing strategy using platforms such as Pardot and Marketing Cloud
  • Regularly audit reports to ensure accuracy of Salesforce and marketing data

Operations

  • Consistently collaborate and coordinate with other departments, offices, and programs for executing strategy and procedures, opportunities, and efficiencies 
  • Aid in the planning and execution of in-person and online prospective student events
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor programs, and changes in educational policies that may impact recruitment strategies
  • Represent the university at external events and promote key graduate programs

 

 



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of admissions experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Previous experience with cold calling, admissions, and CRM systems

An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and knowledge have been acquired may be substituted.
