General Description
Assist with the coordination and oversight of the strength and conditioning program for the EXNS department and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
SPRING SEMESTER 2024 
Essential Job Duties
1. Design strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams, including sport and athlete specific injury prevention.
2. Supervise strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams.
3. Daily execution of strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams.
4. Assist student-athletes with strength training, speed training, agility, flexibility, mobility, and testing.
5. Assist with training of other teams as needed.
6. Work with Athletic Training Staff to develop appropriate return to competition training programs for injured athletes.
7. Work with assigned sport coaching staff to create an appropriate annual training plan.
8. Attend to daily maintenance and cleaning of strength & conditioning facility.
All GAs work under the direct supervision of full-time faculty and/or staff.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and admission into the Masters of Science in Exercise Science program.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
1. Must successfully complete NCAA DII University online modules.
2. Must be able to receive and follow instruction from full-time faculty and staff; carefully following all directives.
3. General knowledge of physiology, athletic training, nutrition and exercise science.
4. Familiarity with strength and conditioning equipment and facilities.
5. Ability to provide an excellent client experience, showing empathy motivating clients.
6. Knowledge of and ability to follow cleaning and disinfecting practices of work spaces and equipment.
Preferred Major EXNS
Licenses, Certification or Registrations
Must be CPR/AED/First Aid certified, and provide documentation
