The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Doctoral Physical Therapy Graduate Assistant to assist Physical Therapy Department Chair and Dean by performing any number of the following duties: assist with academic and field research, develop teaching materials, assist in the classroom, outside academic assignments and activities in all courses. The GA may also perform duties for faculty at the discretion of the Dean. Graduate Assistant will receive a pay of $12.50/hour. Graduate assistant will be expected to work 20 hours per week.

  • Classroom Assistance - guest lecturing, proctoring examinations, or providing support to the instructor during class sessions for faculty.
  • Guiding international students in the Dahlonega and Gainesville campus for classes.
  • Supporting English and Korean language in seminars and lectures.
  • Supporting student activity out of campus.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • The position requires excellent public speaking, organizational and time management skills. 
  • Must demonstrate a strong background in working with a diverse student population.
