The Campus Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the GOALS Program. As such, the coordinator supervises the daily supports provided to students within the GOALS Program (i.e., peer mentor supports, faculty communication, career development instruction, and internship experiences), trains and supervises the undergraduate and graduate student peer mentors, communicates with prospective GOALS students, and coordinates student recruitment outreach to school districts across the state.  

  • Acts as the daily point of contact for the GOALS Program.
  • Trains and supervises peer mentors and graduate assistants who are working within the GOALS Program.
  • Schedules classes for GOALS student.
  • Coordinates the campus life activities along with the required social and academic supports required by each student within the GOALS Program.
  • Collaborate with campus faculty who have GOALS students within their classes.
  • Coordinates job internships and provides instruction job skill instruction to GOALS students.
  • Leads weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding educational information and records.
  • Help to maintain a positive academic environment and encourage appropriate college behavior.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Expertise in counseling with adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with community employers.
  • Strong professionalism and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Knowledge of CSU campus.
  • Strong organization skills and a high degree of integrity.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task.

Graduate degree in special education, school counseling or related field. At least three years of experience working with young adults with various disabilities.

Salary is commensurate of experience and education.
