The University of California, San Francisco, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking to hire a candidate with expertise in general cardiology to join a rapidly growing clinical cardiology program. The candidate should be board certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and have current clinical expertise in outpatient and inpatient cardiology. In addition to being an outstanding clinician the candidate will have demonstrated teaching interest and skills. Applicants must hold MD (or equivalent degree), MD/PhD (or equivalent degrees), or MD/MPH (or equivalent degree(s)) and be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

The successful candidate will be expected to continue the program's growth in the outpatient arena and to provide world-class service to cardiovascular patients in the Bay Area and beyond. Faculty recruit will perform duties as an attending physician on the inpatient and consult services and also provide outpatient general cardiology patient care.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2022-23/oct-2022-salary-scales/t5-summary.pdf . The minimum base salary range for this position is $99,200-$305,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf ) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
