Job Overview
The Front Desk Worker 2 - in a temporary role, part-time role - meets prospective students and other visitors who come to the Office of Admissions - and coordinates their visit, with assistance as necessary from Admissions Officers.
As time permits, they assist with office organizational matters to prepare for the next academic year (inventorying supplies, etc.)
Work Interactions
Supervised by the Manager of JD Operations, the Front Desk Worker 2 serves as the first point of contact for prospective students and other visitors to the Office of Admissions. As well, they coordinate basic visits, and work with Admissions Officers on more complicated visits.
This position has been designated as On-Campus. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Requirements and Qualifications
- Completion of some high school courses
- Previous paid or volunteer work in a public-facing position
