Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Football Nutritionist - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and logistics, as they relate to football nutrition.

  • Work to oversee meal ordering and menu development.

  • Conducts individual consultations with football athletes.

  • Screens supplements for safe use according to NCAA guidelines.

  • Conducts and analyzes body composition testing via Inbody scans.

  • Work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to oversee the budget.

  • Work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to procure vendors and to maintain relationships/communications with the vendors.

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of operations of Nutrition Center and assigned Fueling Stations including managing student-volunteers/interns/work study, product inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution in conjunction with the Football Nutrition Fellow.

  • Maintain effective communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, strength staff and other individuals from the Athletic Department on any nutrition related matter.

  • Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.

Salary:

$35,705.00 - $46,000.00 per year.
