Fine Arts Coach

As the fine arts coach, you will create, schedule, and offer daily drawing and painting workshops to improve student competency in the applied representation of ideas and presentation methods. In this position you will act as a mentor to students, visit classroom and studio spaces to observe and provide feedback, and maintain an exemplary studio environment that models best practices in safety, organization, and professionalism. You will also support the curation and exhibition of student work. This position supports students in a variety of fine art applications, including fashion illustration, sketching built environments, and more. 


Minimum Qualifications:     


  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts or related field and experience in teaching art 

  • Documented leadership in fine arts through a body of mature work 

  • Mastery of a wide range of fine arts methods and techniques, especially in 
    representational art 

  • Exceptional organizational, communicational, and leadership skills 

  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects independently and effectively 


Travel Required: Less than 10%  


Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
