The Department of Medicine's Division of Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh is hiring. Now is your chance to work with a group of faculty who are passionate about teaching, research, and creating collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environments that provide opportunities for professional development. We are seeking an Assistant Professor to engage in research in our Academic Center at the University of Pittsburgh. A successful candidate will have obtained a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular physiology, possess strong laboratory skills, be successful in securing grant funding, and be successful in publications and engagement. This recruit will work collaboratively with the Department of Immunology. An Assistant Professor will be engaged in the faculty development of trainees and participate in mentoring up-and-coming trainees and students. They will actively lead in their respective lab team, and support both the Division and Department missions. Assistant Professor will have interest and dedication to strong mentorship, securing both internal and external funding, and supporting the mission of the University of Pittsburgh. This position will be 80% research, 10% teaching and 10% service.
