Faculty Position - Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Comprehensive Cancer Center  at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital  is launching a major recruiting effort for multiple laboratory-based faculty at the FULL, ASSOCIATE and ASSISTANT levels as we undergo a significant expansion of our basic and translational research programs. We are seeking creative and collaborative scientists with vibrant research programs focused on 1) diverse areas of basic science with relevance for cancer; 2) translational, laboratory-based investigation related to pediatric brain tumors  and solid tumors ; and 3) translational, laboratory-based investigation related to hematological malignancies  as part of a newly formed Center for Excellence in Leukemia Studies.

We are the first and only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children and have been recognized with the highest possible ranking of “exceptional” in our two most recent five-year reviews by the NCI. Investigators have access to resources developed at St. Jude relevant to pediatric cancer, including genomic data in St. Jude Cloud and extensive repositories of patient-derived xenografts matched to primary patient samples and data.

Successful applicants must hold a PhD, MD and/or equivalent degree, have at least three years of relevant postgraduate experience, and have a proven track record of productivity.
