Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Bellarmine University invites applications for a tenure track position in Organic Chemistry at the rank of assistant professor effective August 15, 2024. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and advanced courses in organic chemistry, and lower division service courses as necessary. Candidates with undergraduate teaching experience are preferred. Although Bellarmine's primary mission is teaching, successful candidates are expected to develop an active undergraduate research program.  Publications co-authored with undergraduate students in peer-reviewed journals will be strongly encouraged.  Research instrumentation includes FT-NMR, FTIR, GC/MS, and HPLC-MS. 


Requirements:

A Ph.D. in organic chemistry or a related field is required.
