Position SummaryPosition: Faculty Assistant to work in the Environmental Archaeology (EAL) lab and Center for Stable Isotopes (CSI) laboratories.  This is a work study position requiring either State or Federal works study with the possibility of continuing for more than one year.
Duties: 
Assisting in processing organic and inorganic archaeological samples
for isotopic and radiocarbon analysis, analyzing artifacts using X-ray
fluorescence, and data management.  Work
with a great group of faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates in
an interdisciplinary environment.  Training will be provided on the
job.  Flexible hours. Potential for student research projects in
archaeology or environmental ecology.  Review of applicants will begin
immediately until the position is filled.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred: some lab experience or coursework, interest in archaeology, biology, and/or ecology.  Open to any major but prefer anthropology, geography, biology, EPS, or environmental studies. 

Requirements:  Open to undergraduate or graduate students with work study.
