The Department of Radiology at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites applications for a clinical faculty position(s) as a multimodality radiologist to join a busy multi-specialty practice group in the Division of Emergency Radiology. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in neuroradiology and are adept at multiple modalities. The clinical schedule includes late afternoon, evening, weekend and overnight shifts, with ample non-clinical time to allow for sleep recovery and academic productivity.

The Radiology Department is fully digital and equipment is state-of-the-art, including an ED-based GE Veo CT, ultrasound, DR units, and 1.5 and 3T MRI. Our Emergency Radiologists oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging for emergency department patients. We have a very active training program with a group of 32 excellent residents who rotate through the Emergency Division. We value our excellent collaborations with Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the Trauma Service, and our other Radiology Department specialty sections.
Responsibilities will include patient care, active participation in resident and fellowship education, and participation in clinical and/or basic research. Compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive. Salary and academic title will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Salary range is from $350,000.00 $550,000.00. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
Qualifications
Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York and the location that you are working in if applicable. Candidate must be MQSA certifiable. Training and experience in specialty or subspecialty is preferred. Narcotics license desirable.
