Description:

Position Summary
Under direct supervision, performs basic customer service functions, and is responsible for the clerical support of the UI Health Graduate Medical Education (GME) Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides support for the on-boarding of new employees during New Employee Orientation
  • Participates in GME related projects as assigned
  • Composes and/or assists in the preparation and handling of correspondence (such as form letters/emails and follow-up on ongoing cases)
  • Compiles and prepares data into various reports and dashboards
  • Completes daily rounding with the departments they serve.
  • Assists in coordinating the planning of special projects and essential programs, including complex scheduling for onboarding events. Assists with scheduling (i.e., prioritizes and manages schedules, appointments, meetings and related activities)
  • Performs day-to-day functions within the various onboarding systems such as uploading new users, data entry of residents and fellows into the HR Front End (HRFE) system, and assisting with projects as assigned
  • Coordinates and schedules various meetings
  • Enters and maintains data elements in a defined databases
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    Level 2: Human Resource Representative

    CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories below:
  • course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
    • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
    • Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
    • 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
  • progressively more responsible work experience maintaining, monitoring, and/or processing human resource records and reports.
