Position Summary
Provides administrative support to the Director of Patient Care Services, using initiative, independent judgment and discretion concerning priorities with a high degree of specialization. This position is responsible for the management of business, fiscal, and/or administrative operations. A(n)Extra Help

Business/Administrative Associate interacts with a wide variety of internal and external constituents regarding

business, fiscal, and/or administrative functions. While operating with a high level of autonomy and

independent decision-making, they work under the direction of a designated administrator(s).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages and supports business, fiscal, and/or administrative operations.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of programs, objectives and/or long-range planning.
  • Acts as a technical and administrative resource; coordinates meetings and meeting communications
  • including agendas and minutes.
  • Plans a variety of office support functions designed to maintain effective office/unit procedures and workflows.
  • Completes/coordinates data requests; provides detailed data analyses and comprehensive reports.
  • Manages assigned areas payroll, staffing and scheduling.
  • Maintains personnel records and completes HR transactions for assigned units - such as separations, resignations, recruitment, and retirement of staff. Assists in recruitment processes for assigned units
  • Responsible for the maintenance, retention and security of essential records and reports
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the position.

  • Two (2) years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience.

    (NOTE: A Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.)


  • Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in an area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, data entry, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. • Knowledge of technology including electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, and their applications.
