Job SummaryTo provide efficient Executive Administrative support to the University Police Chief. Perform highly responsible, legally protected, sensitive, confidential, specialized, and technical support activities. Explain rules, policies and operations related to department records and programs; Coordinate administrative and clerical activities within the department; provide information and assistance to the public; Serve as liaison between Chief of Police Assistant Chief and staff members and perform related duties.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Provide Executive Administrative support to the Chief of Police.
- Perform highly responsible, legally protected, sensitive, confidential, specialized, and technical office support activities.
- Serve as liaison between Chief of Police, Assistant Chief and Staff.
- Explain rules policies and operations related to the department records program.
- Serve as a Chairperson over the Traffic Appeals Committee.
- Perform Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum:
- Five (5) years of full-time administrative secretarial experience showing increasing responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business or other related field; Public Safety Experience.
- Typing with accurate speed; diverse computer application skills, strong communication skills required.
- Commitment to diversity and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the diverse constituencies of a campus community.
- Able to rapidly prioritize and execute multiple task.
