Position Summary/Description:


The primary purpose of the position is to provide office, administrative, and personnel support for the Senior Executive Director of Research Administration and members of the Sponsored Projects Administration Office (SPAO). This position will manage all administrative aspects of the office. This position involves direct support and responsibility for managing multiple calendars, scheduling a high volume of meetings, preparing administrative documents and reports, assimilating and composing professional oral and written communication, creating and distributing meeting agendas, and being familiar with various technical platforms used for remote and in person meetings. This position will be responsible for all financial and organizing responsibilities for events and travel, which will include but not be limited to planning and securing venues to host events, including all arrangements needed for the event (e.g., food, audio/video technology, space, etc.), as well as travel arrangements and purchasing. Additionally, this position will maintain Sharepoint and serve as a contract coordinator while also assisting with data entry and database management tasks.

Education and Experience:


High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate's degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience ; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
