About this role:
This position requires strength in multi-tasking, attention to detail and a strong desire to work with people and data. It also requires being comfortable with technology, using multiple software programs/platforms simultaneously while communicating with clients and staff members. Our Event Services hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated, team-player who is tech savvy, detail oriented and loves customer service! Pay starts at $10.00/hour.
Job Duties:
  • Ensuring high level of customer service.
  • Respond to all inquiries regarding event request.
  • Process event request through our reservation software
  • Send quotes and invoices as needed.
  • Work closely with the event services staff and the operations assistants.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to complete required daily work.
  • Enthusiastic, clear, helpful and informed communication over the phone.
  • Follow and enforce the Setzer Student Center policies and procedures.

This position is work-study eligible.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibly as outlined above.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional computer literacy and strong multi-tasking skills across multiple computer systems.
  • Needs to have strong and consistent decision-making skills.
  • Follow and enforce the Setzer Student Center policies and procedures.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Must be in good standing with the University.
