Epic Virtual Care Analyst will be responsible for implementing, building, maintaining and optimizing the Epic EMR system and its Virtual Care Integrations.

Analyst expectations:

  • Work with clinical teams to translate workflows to Epic functionality and identify gaps.
  • Provide mutually agreeable solutions to close workflow gaps, by designing, building, testing, and implementing clinical application systems.
  • Prepare detailed specs encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis.
  • Create and Update Build Documentation.
  • Provide production support and ongoing system troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and training.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Epic virtual care technology and best practices.
  • Develop and Maintain Strong relationships with Clinical stakeholders and Technical Vendor Partners.
  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Related Experience: Electronic Health Record build, support or training. Information Technology support in Healthcare.
  • Epic Certification in at least one Module with 2+ years of experience building and launching building into production.

  • Previous experience building Integrations with Epic.

  • Previous experience with Virtual Care/Telemedicine build in Epic.

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.


Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $48.47 - $92.05

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
