Job Description
We are seeking an Environmental Services Lead at our Koch Center NYC Outpatient Sites in Manhattan.
Our team plays a meaningful role in providing exceptional service by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As Lead, you will ensure all work performed by Environmental Services staff is consistent with supervisory directives and departmental standards and procedures.
You Are:

You will:
- Review standardized cleaning procedures/safety guidelines and document for Infection Control to prevent the spread of infection to patients, visitors and staff
- Follow established hospital procedures for handling, containment, and disposal of general, infectious waste and chemicals waste
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper chemical mixture, usage, storage, and labeling
- Perform training and project work as assigned and respond to emergency requests
- Assign work to staff, make schedule changes as needed, and provide regular progress/status updates to the leadership team on work progress, equipment, and inventory
- Lead will be based out of Koch but will also provide relief for planned/unplanned time away to the NYC outpatient sites on the day shift.
- Lead will also provide Waste Management support at Koch
You Have:
- Environmental Services or Operations experience
- Track record of reliability, positive nature, and great teammate
- Great communication skills and dedication to driving results and taking initiative
Hours:
- Shift- 8am-4pm M-F and every other weekend/holiday 9am to 5pm
Pay Range $25.65-$38.42
