Job Duties
Job Duty | Employment Coordinator will coordinate the employment domain of CarolinaLIFE. Within this role, the Employment Coordinator will: A) Work collaboratively with a part time CarolinaLIFE Employment Support Specialist to supervise, oversee, and coordinate job-shadowing, internship, and employment for all CarolinaLIFE students; B) Supervise all employment coaches; C) Foster relationships with organizations (including, but not limited to Vocational Rehabilitation) and employers both on and off-campus; D) Create and/or maintain a system for sharing information on job development, student vocational assessments, and any other resources needed to help facilitate quality employment experiences for all CarolinaLIFE students; E) Work with employment coaches to monitor student progress in the workplace; F) Schedule and attend regular meetings with employment specialists and VR; G) Work with employment coaches to ensure that all student resumes are updated and turned in by the end of each semester; and H) Assist in the exit planning process. |
