Physical Requirements

Shift
The expectation is primarily day shift Monday through Friday, however as an exempt-level position, additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties. This position will also include on-call coverage that may include weekends and holidays.
Job Summary
The EHR Analysts (Clinical Applications) will be responsible for executing the system development life cycle (SDLC) of an electronic health record and other imaging systems used in Radiology, including orders, scheduling, documentation, and worklists. Their responsibilities cover Epic Radiant, PowerScribe, and device integration with all PACS and other imaging applications used at UKHC. Key tasks include conducting the EHR system build, system configuration, and supporting the workflow design. The role involves developing and maintaining documentation in accordance with service management standards, policies, and procedures of the business. The analyst will ensure that system design requirements and documentation are synchronized with workflow changes. They will actively participate in all phases and activities related to their scope of work within the SDLC, execute a quality management plan tailored to the specific area of responsibility, and participate in operational and integrated workgroups to assess user feedback, gather requirements for configuration, and review/audit the system build. The Analyst will regularly meet with team members and project leadership to discuss the status of deliverables, issues, change communications, and updates. They will conduct peer reviews of the work product and troubleshoot problems to maintain a defect-free environment. Additionally, analysts will collaborate with end-users, vendor representatives, project leadership, and other teams to ensure the design, build, and implementation are successful and meet the business needs. There is an IEBC for this position.

Preferred Education/Experience
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Administration and/or Healthcare with a minimum of 5 years of healthcare, information technology, or related experience.
