The School of Nursing is seeking a dynamic Education Technology Specialist Lead to spearhead instructional technology support and training within the iCollege learning environment. This role entails designing online and hybrid courses, offering technical assistance, overseeing web conferencing, conducting technology surveys, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing data administration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Technology Consulting:
- Actively participate in CETL meetings and provide faculty members with regular updates.
- Serve as a liaison between SON administrators, faculty, and CETL/CII to implement best practices in instructional technology.
- Conduct comprehensive surveys, analyze data, and compile reports for the Associate Dean of SON.
Learning Technology Support:
- Coordinate workshops and projects for developing instructional materials.
- Provide personalized support to faculty in navigating technological and pedagogical practices.
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing instructional delivery methods.
Simulation Support:
- Provide technical support to faculty and simulation coordinators in utilizing simulation equipment.
- Collaborate with the simulation committee to expand simulation activities across the college.
- Make recommendations for equipment purchases and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
Professional Development Training:
- Conduct research, design, and present workshops and events to enhance faculty professional development.
- Provide training on navigating the iCollege learning environment for effective course and program administration.
- Develop video and audio content, tutorials, and training materials for iCollege orientations.
- Facilitate professional development training courses for continuous growth and improvement.
Data Administration:
- Obtain and manage data sources, including databases for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Maintain access level privileges and uphold data security measures.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
