Education Research K-12 School Site Recruitment Specialist (part-time)

AIR is seeking a part-time Education Research K-12 School Site Recruitment Specialist to join our Educators and Instruction (E&I) team.  Our researchers and practitioners work to achieve solutions to complex policy and practice problems. The duration of this role is temporary and will span at least six months. The objective of this role will be to participate in a nationwide evaluation of an instructional coaching program designed to help middle school teachers improve writing instruction.

Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations. This does not include U.S. territories.

The responsibilities for the position include:

  • Collaborate with local service providers in developing recruitment strategies for target K–12 school districts.
  • Deliver informational presentations to school districts.
  • Cultivate relationships with school district administrators, superintendents, local service providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Guide school districts through recruitment process from initial presentation to signing commitment forms.
  • Respond to district questions and provide additional recruitment documentation as needed (such as research applications).
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates to project leadership. 


Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with K-12 school districts and an understanding of the K-12 education context.
  • Responsiveness to district and other stakeholder needs.
  • Experience with online records.
  • Experience with Airtable a plus but not required, as long as you are willing to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce concise, high-level summaries and briefings accessible to broad audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Passion for bringing rigorous evidence to bear on education policy, practice, and decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment.

 

Disclosures:

 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

AIR’s Total Rewards Program , is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated rate of $41.00 - $55.00 per hour. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the hourly range for candidates that are based in the United States.
