Position Description:
As an Education Program Coordinator II in Physical Medicine and Rehab you will coordinate the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program by coordinating recruitment, onboarding residents, maintaining residency accreditations in compliance with applicable guidelines and policies under supervision of the Program Manager.
Primary Functions
- Independently execute institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, learner recruitment, interviews, orientation, schedules, and graduation).
- Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
- Support the designated institutional official, Program Director(s), Department Chair, and other leaders on issues related to the requirements from accreditation agencies, national boards, and affiliates.
- Serve as primary liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, affiliated institutions, and national organizations.
- Develop and maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s) and learners.
- Provide information, support, and problem solving on a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
- Coordinate recruitment of preceptors, instructors, and speakers.
- Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials.
- Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
- May monitor program budgets and lead or oversee the work of support staff.
- Share coverage/duties with other education programs in the Departments of Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Attend weekly education team meetings.

Position Requirements:
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
Field: Academic medical center, higher education, secondary education
