Position Summary:

The Education Admin role would be responsible for coordinating and obtaining necessary documentation from residents to participate in four week optional international rotation each year. Coordinate four week rotations for 4th year medical students interested in the Highlands track residency. Ensure that residents and fellows log their duty hours weekly; review work hours to ensure that there are no violations per ACGME standards. Manage time off requests and ensure clinics are closed appropriately. Track trainees' reimbursement requests and utilization of annual funds. Log in daily lectures and weekly didacts to record attendance. Assign tasks in Wrike to Cahaba employees as needed.

This role will also distribute evaluations to preceptors, update residency transcripts, manage residency onboarding, and conference travel arrangements and reimbursements. Assist with residency credentialing, training, medical licenses, fellowship and residency interviews/recruitment and graduations. Liaison between Administration and Clinic to ensure residents' clinic schedules align with rotation requirement and notify clinic RN supervisor of any related needs/adjustments. Liaison between support area and clinic to ensure all learners - medical students, residents, and shadowers - are appropriately scheduled with providers in clinic. Assist with reporting requirements - EWD for residents and preceptors.

Translate Cahaba rotation - specific resident schedules from Google drive into Outlook calendar and IDX clinic schedule. Propose next academic year clinic schedule for residents based on current academic year. Other duties as assigned.

 

Salary Range: $45,395 - $73,770

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may only substitute for education requirement if experience is related to the design, delivery and evaluation of resident, medical student, fellowship or clerkship educational programs.

  • Prior experience working with GME
  • Affiliated residency and/or fellowship programs.
