Detailed Position Information
The Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration. The Department focuses on the training of educational leaders in different fields and houses programs in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, and Social and Cultural Foundations. A successful candidate will join 8 active research and teaching faculty, as well as a vibrant student community in the Higher Education program. The position is for a 3-year term, with the possibility of renewal. The field of expertise is open.

Responsibilities:
Develop and teach graduate-level courses in the Higher Education content area; serve on dissertation and thesis committees; recruit, advise, and mentor Master and Doctoral level students; participate in program coordination and administration.


Minimum Qualifications
• Earned Doctorate in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• Ability to teach graduate courses in the Higher Education program.
• Ability to supervise graduate students.
• Ability to provide service within the University and relevant professional organizations.
• Ability to engage in program administration and coordination.
• Commitment to working with diverse populations
