Job Description

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. 

This position is responsible for supporting the Accreditation & Curriculum Management Coordinator in providing guidance for affiliate instructors and co-teaching lead faculty; facilitating affiliate/lead-faculty collaboration; and ensuring consistency in expectation and practice.  This position will also support alignment with WNC, NSHE and school/district guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Concurrent Program Facilitator Responsibilities

Administrative Functions: 

Regularly meet with the Accreditation & Curriculum Management Coordinator to– 

  • Share information to inform program planning

  • Problem-solve and provide timely response to challenges

  • Attend dual enrollment meetings, as needed

  • Collate and organize assessment data for Spring 2024

Co-teaching Leads:

  • Meet with all Co-teaching Leads monthly, individually and/or as a group

  • Facilitate meetings by developing agendas and documenting minutes, following up/reporting on identified issues or concerns, problem-solve, solicit input on relevant topics, etc.

  • Track and submit meeting dates, topics and outcomes

  • Support Co-Teaching Leads to establish a regular check-in schedule with assigned affiliate instructors 

  • Establish a procedure for Co-Teaching Leads to track and submit affiliate check-in dates and outcomes

  • Follow up with Co-Teaching Leads to ensure regular check-ins are taking place

  • In collaboration with the Accreditation and Curriculum Management Coordinator, support implementation of the dual enrollment assessment process

  • Provide guidance on assessment criteria, requirements and data collection

  • Support assessment implementation and data collection for spring semester

  • Work with Co-Teaching Leads to address issues, challenges and/or concerns

  • Provide guidance, intervention and support for challenges that may arise with affiliate instructors

Affiliate Instructor Support: 

  • Serve as Dual Enrollment Lead for all Independent Affiliates

  • Develop a schedule of regular check ins

  • Facilitate course review process

  • Assist with assessment implementation and collect required data

  • Oversee final grade submission

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Appropriate education/training experience for teaching at the college level Experience teaching at the college level

  • Knowledge/familiarity with WNC's concurrent dual enrollment program and willingness to learn

  • Knowledge/familiarity with WNC's academic assessment practices and willingness to learn

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and respectfully to work effectively with diverse personalities and populations
