Driver

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a dependable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Driver. The Driver will play a crucial role in providing transportation services to CSHL personnel and visitors, ensuring safe and efficient travel between various locations.

• Provide daily shuttle service for employees and visitors in a 13-passenger van, Trolley, Minivan, or SUV between the main campus, the Woodbury campus and various points in Huntington village and Syosset
• Pick-up and deliver passengers to/from local hotels and train stations.
• Assist passengers with luggage.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: Some related driving experience preferred.
• Other: Must be licensed to operate a vehicle and possess a clean driving record.

• Ability to operate a 13 passenger van, Trolley, Minivan, and SUV safely and responsibly.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Weekend work and some evenings required.

Compensation

The hourly rate is $19.92.   The hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
