Position Summary Information


Objective
The Door Hardware Specialist performs work requiring vast knowledge in installing, maintaining and repairing diverse types of building locks including cylindrical, unit, mortis and rim, electronics locksets, as well as replaces and repairs panic hardware, door closures, ADA electronic openers, locks on desks, file cabinets, display cases, and similar containers. The Door Hardware Specialist cuts new or replacement keys, picks locks for which keys have been lost or broken and makes repairs of locks as required under emergency conditions.
Required Quals Summary
1. Two years of directly relevant experience in the installation and repair of locks and door hardware.
2. Valid Texas driver’s license
