Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The University of Maryland’s division of University Relations is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, energetic professional to serve as a Donor Experience Officer (DXO). Reporting to the Director of Leadership Annual Giving, this position is key in helping donors align their passions with philanthropic priorities and opportunities across campus. As a digital-first fundraiser, the DXO will utilize modern marketing and video tools to express gratitude and ask for philanthropic support. The DXO must have the ability to use digital technologies in all aspects of the role; information, communication, and basic problem-solving skills, and be data-centric in their approach to achieving success. The Donor Experience Officer must be able to articulate the mission and goals of the University of Maryland while demonstrating enthusiasm and passion. Salary Range is the low $60,000s to the low $70,000s. This position allows for a combination of in-person and telework days as approved by the supervisor. Guidance regarding hybrid work is subject to change at any time to align with operational or business needs.
