As a Document Scanning Coordinator, you will be responsible for converting a large volume of physical documents into digital formats using a combination of laptop and desktop scanner setups. This role is pivotal in digitizing and organizing documents to ensure they are easily accessible and ready for future system integration. Duties will include operating scanning equipment, verifying the quality of digital images, and managing the storage of these digital files in designated digital storage areas.
This is a temporary, summer position, with an anticipated end date of 7/31/24. Work hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 4:30. Start date is as soon as possible. Multiple positions available.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Operate scanners to convert documents into digital formats.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure each scanned document is readable and aligned correctly, adjusting settings as necessary. Rectify any issues such as poor image quality.
  • Organize scanned documents into appropriate digital folders and maintain an orderly digital filing system.
  • Adhere to document confidentiality and security guidelines to safeguard sensitive information.

Qualifications
  • Experience with document scanning or in a similar role involving document management a plus.
  • Proficient in using computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documents carefully.
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently.
