Summary

The Division of Critical Care in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a Division Chief position at CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the department of pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package.  The candidates' credentials and experience will determine the rank of the academic appointment.


Job Duties

Responsibilities include overseeing the section of critical care, the provision of care to critically ill and injured children in a pediatric intensive care unit, and teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and staff. 


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD/DO or equivalent, be able to obtain a full unrestricted license by the Texas Medical Board or eligible for same, Board certified in the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in the pediatric critical care medicine or eligible for same, current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
