Position Summary:

Job Description:

Communicates by radio, telephone and in person with officers, team members, patients and visitors. Maintains dispatch log, monitors cameras and alarms.

Operates the security dispatch center
a. Obtains detail information.
b. Disseminates information to appropriate persons.

Accepts bank deposits.
a. Logs and secures deposits.

Reviews and types correspondence, reports, forms records and complaints, and other related data.
a. Prepares neat and accurate documents in a prompt manner.

Maintains logs neatly, orderly and up-to-date to facilitate proper usage.

f. Infant Abduction Alarm Log
g. Dispatch Rolodex
h. Dispatch Log

Communicates by telephone and radio.
a. Communicates promptly and accurately all incidents to supervisor and other staff as needed.

Monitors and maintains security equipment in dispatch office. a. Monitors security equipment to answer and promptly respond to alarms and security incidents.
b. Monitors infant abduction cameras/alarms.

Coordinates all security inquiries for NCIC checks.
a. Promptly processes inquiries and maintains confidentiality when needed.

Maintains daily security log.
a. Documents activities for proper efficiency an validity of record keeping on computer.

Maintains liaison with other law enforcement agencies to foster cooperation for special problems and mutual help.
a. Contacts agencies in a courteous and professional manner. b. Maintains contact with E-911 for directions to areas requiring Emergency Response.

Maintains Communication with all Security Team Members
a. Maintaining communication with all security team members is paramount for safety.


Position Qualification:

Job Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

1-3 months communications experience

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak before groups of team members.

Skill/Ability and Description

Ability to manipulate, monitor and review cameras and electronic recording devices.

Computer literacy
