Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Director of Football Player Personnel will assist the football coaching staff with all player personnel issues and recruiting activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Two years of experience in football operations, athletic administration, coaching collegiate football, serving as an athletic graduate assistant, and/or participation as a student-athlete at a collegiate or professional sport level. NCAA Division I FBS or FCS experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Manages all football recruiting activities and ensures compliance with NCAA regulations. Plan, coordinate and manage all official and unofficial recruiting events for football prospective student-athletes. Manage transfer portal. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Manages the head coach's calendar as it relates to recruiting: on-campus meetings, phone calls and all other correspondence - (Essential)
  • 10% - Works with the athletics compliance and football academic advisor to monitor high school and transfer prospective student-athlete's admissions, NCAA Eligibility Center status and any other academic issues. - (Essential)
  • 15% - Prepares for and executes on-campus recruiting visits. Serves as a liaison to Athletic and University personnel including compliance, academics, facility operations, housing and admissions. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach, Chief of Football Staff and Director of Football Operations. - (Essential)
  • 30% - Manages all player personnel issues with current roster. - (Essential)
