Position Summary | The Department of Prosthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for our clinical-track faculty position to teach the students and residents in the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) programs. This will be a 12-month appointment at the rank of assistant professor at 1.0 FTE, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024, or sooner. We are seeking a new faculty member with proficiency in all aspects of digital innovation and laboratory technologies to teach students and residents in the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) programs about contemporary technologies in dentistry, and to prepare graduates for future evolving dental careers. Our main facility includes a state-of-the-art 45,000–square-foot James J. Fritts DDS Clinical Care Center on the IUPUI campus, adjacent to local hospitals and part of an urban academic health center. IUSD enrolls approximately 800 students annually in degree and/or certificate programs in dentistry, allied dental programs, Ph.D., and advanced dental specialty programs tailored to the current and future needs of the professions and the communities we serve.
