What you will do:
Monitoring systems which assist the University in complying with all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Process of renewal/nonrenewal of scholarships, issuing scholarship agreements and National Letters of Intent (NLI), calculating appropriate amounts of scholarship aid to be awarded to student-athletes.
Collaborates with campus partners (e.g., Admissions, Office of Financial Aid, Office of Academic Records) to certify student-athletes for academic eligibility.
Provides interpretations on NCAA, WAC and GCU rules and regulations.
Maintenance of systems and mechanisms for rules monitoring, staff education, and the reporting of violations should they occur.
Other duties as assigned.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution required.
Two years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Bonus:
Master’s/JD Degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferred.
