      Position Description:

      Directs implementation of Upward Bound Project philosophy, goals, and objectives; coordinates and assists in the development, implementation, and presentation of Project programs and services; administers project budget; selects, assigns, trains, and directs project staff; acts in a liaison capacity with university faculty staff, and community relative to project services; and completes related administrative duties as required or directed.

      Education Requirements:

      Bachelor's degree in education, public administration, social work, or related field required.

      Required Qualifications:

      At least five years of experience as administrator of a student services program; successful budgeting experience; and successful grant reporting and writing experience required.

      Desirable Qualifications:

      Master's degree; experience working with low-income, first generation students and students from diverse backgrounds; and TRIO/Upward Bound experience preferred.
