Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


Job Summary: The Director Capstone Men and Women and Rose Concierge oversees the daily operations of the Office of External Affairs.


Additional Department Summary: Oversees the Capstone Men and Women (CMW) program, concierge services for the Rose Administration Building, the President’s Office VIP student recruitment program, and other President’s Office events and functions. Oversees the operation and function of the Rose Administration Lobby, the guest experience, and staff access. Supervises the concierge staff members. Schedules visitors.

Manages all functions of the CMW program. Attends weekly meetings. Coordinates training and education. Provides oversight of CMW at official functions (including some weekends and football games). Travels for official events. Handles logistics and planning for weekly meetings, events, and travel. Coordinates detailed scheduling of approximately 6,000 campus tours requested by UA staff, prospective students, and campus guests. Oversees maintenance of CMW vehicles, CMW work/study space, and student workers.

Directs the VIP student recruitment program. Creates correspondence for the President. Plans and schedules more than 600 VIP tours annually. Manages post-tour recruitment communication, surveys, and personalized mailings. Works as the liaison between campus partners and the VIP student recruitment program. Maintains database of VIP student information and communication for reporting to the Cabinet. Prepares regular correspondence to members of Cabinet about VIP student recruitment program.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience in event planning, advancement, or closely related field.
