Qualifications
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

Additional Posting Information:
- Reporting to the Hines College Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, and External Relations, participates as a member of the College external relations team to strategically engage alumni and industry partners.
- Works closely with staff, faculty, and students to collaboratively identify areas of opportunity and foster engagement in line with the Hines College’s mission.
- Directs the College’s annual spring Career Fair in conjunction with University Career Services and the Architecture + Design Alumni Association.
- Manages the College’s alumni social media channels.
- Develops and manages a class agents program to actively promote engagement among all the College’s alumni.
- Necessary qualifications for success in this position include the capacity to be a self-starter who operates with urgency, focus, and discipline; the ability to multi-task between assignments (i.e., organizational skills); detail-oriented: quality and precision-focused; and excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal).
- Experience in a higher education environment is preferred but not required.
- The ideal candidate is an individual who has previous work experience as a development officer or alumni relations professional.
