POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Program Manager will manage all critical functions and processes of the development team. The Program Manager will coordinate the goal-setting process and help track progress toward those goals. S/he will manage internal operations, optimizing and documenting critical systems and processes. The Program Manager will serve as the lead for the SIEPR stewardship and planned giving programs and will manage our engagement with SIEPR’s volunteer Advisory Board.

 CORE DUTIES:

  • Oversee SIEPR’s donor relationship management system utilizing CARD and working closely with the three field fundraisers to ensure we achieve our major and principal gift fundraising goals. Develop and manage processes and systems to track progress towards goals, lead meetings, and recommend changes to internal processes, donor events, and donor strategies as warranted.
  • Manage SIEPR’s donor stewardship program, gathering content as needed from other parts of SIEPR and ensuring excellent stewardship for our supporters.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact on the development team for SIEPR events involving donors, including helping construct invitation lists and manage event programs to maximize cultivation and stewardship opportunities.
  • Oversee the refreshing of marketing materials as needed.
  • Use data from multiple sources to develop and implement strategies to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors with field fundraisers.
  • Serve as development team’s operation manager, leading the objective-setting process and progress towards our team and individual objectives while managing and documenting all critical processes.
  • May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise staff.
  • Serve as the internal manager of SIEPR’s 75-person Advisory Board and its Executive Committee. Oversee two meetings per year for each, including serving as the point of contact for our volunteer leaders, proposing meeting agendas, and crafting meeting presentation drafts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Outstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external constituents.
  • Proficiency with database systems, such as Microsoft Access.
  • Advanced ability to collect data using a variety of methods, such as data mining and hard copy or electronic documentation study.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce data in a clear and understandable manner meeting user requirements.
  • Ability to take leadership role on projects and with users/clients.

Certifications and Licenses:
Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, sit, and use a telephone, stand/walk.
  • Occasionally light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May require working flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Travel may be required.

The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
