Job Summary:

Design interns create publications (both print and electronic) of varying complexity that support student recruitment, fundraising, alumni relations efforts, and other communication efforts. Applicants needs at least one year of design experience to join our team of professionals.

Full Job Description:

The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of the senior designer with mentorship from professional designers and the creative director. The candidate must have strong design skills, excellent attention to detail, time management and communications skills, a willingness to collaborate, and the ability to help develop and effectively pitch creative concepts that appeal to a broad range of audiences ranging from 16-year-old prospective students to 80+-year-old alumni.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student is currently enrolled at the University of San Francisco
  • Utilize conventional design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat etc.) to create concepts and designs for publications (print and electronic) as assigned

  • Handle up to 15 projects simultaneously

  • Assist clients with creative conceptualization to meet their needs

  • Bonus points for additional creative software expertise (HTML, After Effects, Premiere, photography, videography, audio, illustration, etc.)

    Ability to work in-person or remotely at least 10 hours per week

    Production duties as assigned

$18.67/ hr.
