Required Degree:  Minimum BA/BFA degree required; Terminal degree (MFA) or significant professional experience in related field preferred. 

Required degree must be completed before the position start date.
 

Duties/Expectations:  

  • Teach a course (ART 240)  in Design for Print and Web for artists. 
  • This course is tailored specifically to the needs of artists to provide a broad introduction to the methods, concepts, and tools of web and print design that students can apply in studio art making, in promoting their work and careers, and in professional contexts. 
  • Adjunct faculty will use department-approved teaching syllabi and materials for the courses, and will mentor the students in their class(es). 
  • In addition to teaching the course(s) assigned, adjunct faculty are expected to attend department training meetings.
