About Our Opportunity:

As the Degree Audit Specialist, you will analyze, build, update, and maintain the degree audit and evaluation system. You will provide academic curriculum consulting and auditing, data and operational analysis, and system maintenance services to the Office of the Registrar and Purdue University colleges and departments. Liaises with colleges and departments about curriculum process and articulation agreements and helps troubleshoot issues related to degree audit. Analyze, design, and document data integration procedures to extract and present management data from multiple sources in required format for end-users.

What We’re Looking For:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.  
  • Four years of prior relevant university experience.
  • In lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered (High School Diploma + 8 years of experience). 
  • Requires practical knowledge and experience with student information systems.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to analyze and solve vague problems.  
  • Team-oriented, able to multi-task and have a customer service orientation. 
  • Attention to detail in organizing and planning.

Preferred:

  • Degree audit tool software knowledge. 
  • Experience working with and knowledge of Degree Works, Banner, UniTime, Cognos and Digital Architecture and experience working in a large multi-campus university setting.
  • Purdue University experience.
  • Experience with web-based network technology and internet-based data collections.
