Job Summary
As a member of CETD’s innovation management team, the incumbent will support and coordinate efforts to identify and advance innovations and opportunities throughout UTA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Help create and maintain data and business management systems, platforms, and architecture.
  • Establish and administer data governance structures and processes.
  • Enable business intelligence reporting, data analysis and data sharing.
  • Create and update internal and informational dashboards.
  • Manage contact databases.
  • Complete and manage routine and recurring report requests.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments, vendors and related organizations for the development, maintenance and repair of systems as required.
  • Research and generate reports in collaboration with other teams to assess and value the potential of invention disclosures created by university researchers.
  • Provide analytical and research support on an ad hoc basis for CETD.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Project management, relationship management and database management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in STEM field.
  • Understanding of traditional technology transfer practices and their limitations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
