The Ichikawa lab at Cornell University’s Department of Molecular Medicine is actively seeking collaborative and enthusiastic postdoctoral candidates. We welcome applicants with strong expertise in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, or Proteomics.
The successful candidate will engage in exciting research projects focused on unraveling the molecular mechanisms by which post-translational modifications impact fundamental biological processes, mainly through interactions with E3 ubiquitin ligases.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team. Responsibilities include contributing to writing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals, participating in ongoing collaborations, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students on laboratory equipment and techniques. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, well-organized, and possess outstanding oral and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.

The salary range for this position is $56,484-80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
Pay Range:
$56,484.00 - $80,000.00
Pay Ranges:
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:
- Prior relevant work or industry experience.
- Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
- Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
- Unique applicable skills.
