Customer Relations Specialist

Coastal Carolina University seeks applications for the position of Customer Relations Specialist for the Department of Human Resources.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Serves as primary initial contact for the Office of Human Resources for internal and external constituents.
· Completes employment verifications.
· Log-in of all HR Paperwork coming into office.
· Assist employees with new hire paperwork.
· Assist with the processing of I-9 and E-Verify for new hires.
· Process procurement card approvals and travel authorizations.
· Track and maintain office supply inventory.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of previous customer services experience are required.

Operations Assistant I (AH73/61122722/FTE-S01006P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 03. Salary range: $26,385.00 (minimum) – $37,605.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years previous customer services experience required.

Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Exceptional analytical skills, communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is required. Strong organizational, computer and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines. Demonstrated customer service skills are necessary. Ability to resolve issues and make sound business decisions.
