Job Summary
Full-time custodian position in Housing & Residence Life performs routine manual work in cleaning, servicing, and stocking supplies in Housing and Residence Life buildings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of chemicals, cleaning techniques, and department policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate commercial grade floor machinery.
- Ability to demonstrate discretion when dealing with sensitve or confidential matters.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Ability to manage own time.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years of work experience in similar or related field of work, familiarity with computer based time clock and familiarity with maintenance work order systems.
